Karakoram X Carbon W is intended for riders looking for premium carbon binding with compact geometry for lower-volume boots. Karakoram X Carbon W works best with a medium-stiff or stiff splitboard boot. This combination loses little power between cuff, highback and board and suits heavier riders, firm traverses, steep lines and stiffer splitboards.

How does the system work?

Karakoram X Carbon W uses Prime Ride Mode 3.0 with Active Joining and Tour Mode. Karakoram actively pulls the board halves together in ride mode. That firm connection supports torsional stiffness and edge pressure, while negative forward lean creates room for a longer touring stride.

Available Karakoram X Carbon W sizes: W-S, W-M. Use the boot’s real outer length: heel and toe should remain centred, straps should operate in their intended range and the boot must not move laterally in the chassis.
