Forcella della Neve
Route Character
Easy splitboard tour in the Cadini di Misurina. Admittedly, this tour is not exactly an insider’s tip and this tour is done very often. Except for the last short ascent to the col, the route follows moderately steep terrain. Nevertheless, attention must be paid to possible avalanches of the very steep sideward flanks in the upper sector.

Starting point: At the car park of a small rope tow just behind Lake Misurina at the Ristorante di Genzianelli. Village: Cortina d”Ampezzo
Ascent & Route

Map Explanation
- Slope inclinations are a very important criterion in avalanche risk management. However, slope inclination alone should never be the sole criterion!
- The resolution for Austria and South Tyrol is based on a digital terrain model (DTM) with 10m resolution. Outside these areas, accuracy is significantly lower.
- A map can only ever provide a limited view of real conditions.
