Last Sunday Daniel Furberg and Terje Hoihjelle headed up to Sogndalsfjellet and Steindalsnosi for the first turns of the winter. The powder layer they found was very thin, but it was there!

Sogndal is a pretty good place to live - Daniel now has 13 consecutive months of snowboarding.

Big Thanks to Terje Valen Høihjelle for the impressive pictures.

Sogndal in western Norway is a lively small community of less than 8000 people and lies about 230km northeast of Bergen. By the way, the Sognefjord is the longest and deepest fjord in Europe.
