EVOC LINE 22 E2 26/27

The LINE 22 E2 is a compact electronic avalanche airbag for day tours and freeride missions. This page places it in a splitboard touring context: what it is for, where its limits sit and which equipment still belongs in the setup.

What is the LINE 22 E2 designed for?

An airbag can influence the chance of remaining near the surface in an avalanche. It neither prevents a release nor replaces a transceiver, probe, shovel, training and conservative risk management. Check the trigger, charge or cartridge and airbag-compartment closure before every tour.

Twenty-two litres demand disciplined packing. Check that board carry, safety compartment and trigger remain accessible with your own equipment.

What is our editorial assessment?

We have not yet tested the LINE 22 E2 on tour. This assessment is based on the published manufacturer information and our experience with comparable splitboard equipment. Once we complete a field test, measured data and practical impressions will be separated clearly from product specifications.

What is included and what else do you need?

The exact inclusion of airbag system, battery, charger or cartridge depends on the variant and must be checked on the linked product page. Transceiver, probe and shovel are always separate.

Which information comes from the manufacturer?
