Whether wandering or riding a set peak, the Nomad has you covered. Our SL-inspired workhorse blends the X-Type Chassis, C4 Carbon Highback, and AirPod straps into a light yet bombproof package tuned for splitboards and snowboards.

Active Joining

Pre-loaded board connections lock instantly for zero play and the most responsive link to your splitboard or snowboard.

C4 Carbon Highback

Karakoram's proprietary Carbon Nyolite keeps the highback featherweight but stiff (Flex 8/10), building on the Reactive contour for precision and lateral support.

Dual Ride-Stride

Quarter-turn between Ride, Surf, and Walk modes. Ride jumps from 10° to 22° in 2° increments, Surf drops to 0° or 11°, and Walk loosens to -8° for a longer stride.

Nomad X-Type Heelcup

CNC core outs deliver 2x the strength of standard aluminum while the high sidewall reinforces power transfer and grip on sidehills.

AirPod Straps

Independent pressure pods articulate to your boot, eliminating hard pressure points with P-Lite TPE that is 30% lighter than standard TPU.

Carbon Buckles

Recycled carbon fiber tow makes these buckles light, durable, and landfill-conscious.

7075-T6 Open Chassis

Space-grade aluminum CNC’d chassis flexes naturally with the board so there are no dead spots beneath your feet.

Wide Contact Points

Every screw is upgraded to custom anodized 7075-T6 or Grade 5 Titanium, and the hollow titanium pins keep the interface brutally stiff.
