The eagle on the deck is more than just a nice design: In the backcountry you want to find your perfect line – and having eyes like an eagle definitely helps! Once you have decided your route, the custom-fit skins are fixed fast and easy thanks to the unique Völkl Skin Pin System. Brand-new in 13-14 is the additional climbingskin fixation at the tail of the board – two are better than one... and it enhances comfort and security at your backcountry adventures. As you feel every extra gram during the hike up the mountain, Völkl builds the Cashew Split as light as possible and equipped it with a No-Topsheet Construction and added Carbon reinforcements.
Once at the summit, you simply transform your touring skis into a board – without any tools and in just a few steps! While cruising through the virgin powder, the Convex Powder Base offers maximum float, and you will almost feel like you’re flying down to the valley - maybe like the eagle on the deck. Looking for an authentic surf feeling in the snow? Just ride the board as a short tail on the very back position and enjoy the spray of your massive roosters.
