Splitboard Atomic Poacher Renu 12/13 - Details
The Atomic Poacher Renu 2012/13 retains its own interface. The included crampons will be used as a tool to bring the splitboard in hike- or ride-mode.
The board halves will be used switch, so they come quite close to the touring ski. This brings some advantages in the ascent e.g. better edge hold while traversing or the use of allready existing skitouring tracks.
In the ride-mode, the Atomic Poacher has lots of floatation due to its peculiar shape, the tail has a similar effect as a swallowtail or V-tail.
The shape of this splitboard is freeride-oriented, the pop-rocker promises good flex properties and restoring forces. Some materials are environmental friendly, such as the wooden core, recyclete lining and Bamboo sidewalls, also jute was processed. A plus for environmentally conscious splitboarders.
The Atomic Splitboard is available in 3 lengths and comes with skins, crampons and binding, at a price of 999 €.
