Prior Fissile 14-15 - Details
The Fissile Split by Prior has the largest powdernose and the shortest sidecut in the Prior quiver. As a result, you get maximum float at enormous maneuverability.
If you bring your weight on your front foot you can "straightline" at full speed and the Fissile remains stable. Putting the weight on the back foot, it allows you to ride powerful maneuver in even the tightest areas or at the smallest features. The Fissile is insanely good and gaining more and more fans in the backcountry community. The board is the perfect choice for powder hunters who want to transfer their surf style on a snowboard.
The Noserocker and traditional camber down to the tail gives you maximum control and float in the powder, you can also accelerate out of the turns.
Prior Splitboard Designs 14-15:
The Prior XTC Carbon Construction is available for all prior boards as upgrade and saves weight about 500g.
The Fissile split will be delivered with hooks and clips.
The following lengths are available: new 161cm, 166cm and 172cm
You can choose between 13 designs (see below).
