Born from the collaboration between Rip Curl and PLUMsplitboard, with the Transition you will go everywhere at any time. This splitboard is mainly backcountry oriented, but offers outstanding performances in all conditions. Amazing partner in powder, great excitment in fresh snow. Hand shaped, the specificity of this model consists in its shape which feel like surf where each elements are significant. Thanks to its wide rocker and light Pin tail (tip wider than tail) allows to glide easily and you will feel like surfing downhill. Rockers provide smooth drive. Thanks to its quenched edge in tempered steel and its sharpening tuning, the grip of this splitboard is exceptional. The quadri-axial fibers, which take the core in sandwich, offer a flex that is altogether firm, fun and reactive in torsion. Its wood core (2 kinds of wood) heat-sealed by epoxy guarantees an optimal resistance to shocks. The stability of this splitboard will enable you to ride in the widest range of mountains.
