On the Nitro Doppelganger Split there have been no technical developments in recent years, so if you intend to buy, grab one from previous seasons. But since people keep asking us questions and many people are looking for Nitro splitboards, we have included it this year again. You can forget about the Nitro Nomad, this is a wobbly cucumber. But now back to the Doppelgänger: An all-round splitboard that is ready for every backcountry adventure. Nitro's Hike Pods technology supports you with effective edge grip in the ascent. It helps a little on sketchy passages where you need a little more edge grip. The system can be compared to Arbor's Grip Tech. The edge has been flattened a bit in the middle of the board and doesn't esactly follow its sidecut there. The board has a lot of camber and together with the Directional Mid-Wide Shape it gives you the precision and energy you need for your ride through any terrain. Another positive feature is the unobtrusive bolting of Nitro Aluminium Hooks. Just like the Jones boards with Boltless Bridge, there are no screws on the base of the board.
