With the Backcountry split from Mendiboard you can feel the passion of the developer. It easily keeps up with the big brands in terms of quality. Concerning shape and performance you can see that Mendiboard is 100% involved with splitboards. All board parameters are perfectly tuned by Mendi. As with the previous models, it has a traditional camber profile for optimal edge hold in ascents and ideal riding characteristics in a variety of snow conditions. The shape of the nose is extra wide to ensure sufficient lift in powder despite the camber profile. In addition, the curve of the nose provides an extra portion of float.  It has 7 insert rows to adjust more setback if necessary, but in our opinion this is not necessary. In a length of 162cm the board is also available in a wide version.
