Burton Pow Wrench Split - Details
- Burton Split Channel System
- Sintered base
- Directionaler shape with 20mm taper
- Triaxial fiberglass
- Flat profile
The Pow Wrench Split from Burton is short and wide and falls in the category of volume shifted splits. It is suitable for deep powder days, to plough through the powder with enough lift and agility. However, the width (Waist Width 26.5 cm with a length of 154 cm) is less pronounced, as for example with other well-known candidates from the powder fish segment. So other volume shift boards - a look into our splitboarding.eu archive reveals - are much wider: K2 Split Bean (28,1 cm at a length of 144 cm) at the extreme end, Jones Storm Chaser (27,5 cm at a length of 147/152/157 cm) or Rossignol Sushi (28,2 cm at a length of 145 cm). The swallowtail is kept subtle and the board has a flat rocker profile.
