The Blackbird 162 is a mountaineering board, similar to the Salomon Premiere, designed for those alpinist splitboarders who want to tackle longer tours and want to be fast and efficient on the way up. According to the vendor it is the lightest four-part split on the market with its 2850g in the 162 version (naked split without any clips, pucks and other binder hardware, seen on the picture). The Blackbird is composed of a paulownia core and quadriaxial carbon fiber that allows to have a real ski hiking setup on the way up, and a real snowboard for the descent.
