Amplid Tour Operator - Details
The Amplid Tour Operator is designed for splitboarders who live for the backcountry season, from the first flurries to the last thaws. This splitboard is built to last, featuring Zero 90 Carbon, which enhances strength and stability while keeping the weight manageable. At approximately 2.4 kg, it’s perfectly tuned for touring without sacrificing performance.
With its effective edge measuring 1040 mm and a running length of 1010 mm, the Tour Operator offers a responsive ride across varied terrains. The board’s sidecut radius of 7.05 m and a sidecut depth of 19.8 mm provide excellent maneuverability, while the 10 cm back stance position allows for a more aggressive setup when tackling steep descents.
The innovative Bezièr Curves replace standard radii in the board’s design, creating a flex curve that promotes a smooth, harmonious ride. Coupled with Impact Pads, which reduce damage from binding bases, the board is engineered for durability in rugged conditions.
Finally, the sintered base ensures that your speed stays high in any snow condition, providing resilience to wear and tear. With the Tour Operator, you’ve got a reliable companion ready to take on the backcountry, no matter the challenge.
Tech Features
Zero 90 Carbon
We replace standard radii with Beziér curves in our sidecut and nose design, allowing us to precisely calculate the core’s flex curve for the most harmonious ride imaginable.
Impact Pads
On the Milligram we have added multidirectional glass pads in the binding area, to avoid dings caused by the pointy corners of metal splitboard binding bases. These pads enhance durability while only adding minimal weight.
Sintered Base
Amplid’s ultra-high density sintered base goes like shit-off-a-shovel in all snow conditions. It is extremely hard and therefore more resistant to damage.
Zero 90 Carbon
Amplid’s Zero 90 Carbon layup addresses a critical blind spot: 90° flex. By integrating carbon rovings along this axis across the entire board, it enhances edge control and power transfer while reducing weight. The result? Precision, stability, and unmatched performance.

FAQ
Can I ride it on-piste? Yes. It is a bit heavier than a solid board, but it rides well on-piste.
Do I need special boots for splitboarding? No. Regular snowboard boots work, but splitboard/touring boots offer better uphill support, walk mode and edging on traverses.
