Amplid Surf Shuttle - Details
Ahoy, adventurers! The Amplid Surf Shuttle is crafted for those seeking a surfy ride in the backcountry. With its Direct Cruise Camber profile, the board offers a balance of lively responsiveness and smooth longitudinal flex, making it a reliable companion for all your splitboarding escapades.
Weighing in at a mere 3.4-3.5 kg, the Surf Shuttle is not just light but built for durability with its Zero 90 Carbon construction. This innovative design enhances edge hold and stability, while the multidirectional glass Impact Pads protect against damage from binding corners. You’ll find the board measures 157 cm in overall length, with an effective edge of 1160 mm and a waist width of 260 mm, providing a stable platform for navigating diverse snow conditions.
The board features Amplid’s signature Bezièr Curves in its sidecut and nose design. This technology allows for precise calculations of the flex curve, ensuring a harmonious ride that flows smoothly across varying terrains. The ultra-high density sintered base further enhances performance, delivering speed and resilience through all snow types.
With a stance position of 10 back and a reference stance width of 56 cm (adjustable between 52-60), the Surf Shuttle is tailored for riders looking to maximize their control and comfort on the mountain. Set sail with the Surf Shuttle and experience the thrill of backcountry riding like never before!
Tech Features
Zero 90 Carbon
We replace standard radii with Beziér curves in our sidecut and nose design, allowing us to precisely calculate the core’s flex curve for the most harmonious ride imaginable.
Impact Pads
On the Milligram we have added multidirectional glass pads in the binding area, to avoid dings caused by the pointy corners of metal splitboard binding bases. These pads enhance durability while only adding minimal weight.
Sintered Base
Amplid’s ultra-high density sintered base goes like shit-off-a-shovel in all snow conditions. It is extremely hard and therefore more resistant to damage.
Zero 90 Carbon
Amplid’s Zero 90 Carbon layup addresses a critical blind spot: 90° flex. By integrating carbon rovings along this axis across the entire board, it enhances edge control and power transfer while reducing weight. The result? Precision, stability, and unmatched performance.

FAQ
Can I ride it on-piste? Yes. It is a bit heavier than a solid board, but it rides well on-piste.
Do I need special boots for splitboarding? No. Regular snowboard boots work, but splitboard/touring boots offer better uphill support, walk mode and edging on traverses.
