Omni Core
This super-lightweight wood core is the industry standard for lightweight, durable and versatile performance. We have optimized this core so many times over the years that there is nothing left to improve.

These narrow bands of basalt fabric, which run in a V-configuration under the topsheet from the contact points to the bindings, dampen unwanted vibrations, reduce rider fatigue and keep the edge in contact with the snow for better control.
The use of biaxial glass in the construction of our boards gives them a flawless blend of response and playfulness while remaining incredibly light.
Ultra-wide, low rising tips that exist only to create buoyancy in the powder without slowing down speed. They give skis and snowboards a surfer-like feeling.
We slightly round the edges at tip and tail outside the effective edge. Blunting these edges reduces the knock-off of the top sheet when climbing.
Amplid's ultra-high density sintered base will go nuts in all snow conditions. It is extremely hard and therefore more resistant to damage.
The use of threaded bolts instead of rivets makes it easy to replace broken clips without the need for a workshop full of tools.
Robust, pre-cured composite impact plates, which are placed under bindings and touring hardware, significantly reduce the risk of top sheet damage and breakage.
Forged aluminum hooks, developed in-house by Amplid's engineering team, provide a reliable yet lightweight connection between the board halves and have a smooth, matte black aesthetic.
Knuckle Sandwich replaces conventional materials, which are susceptible to damage, with more durable alternatives.
Less heat, less sticky snow, less weight - thanks to a special heat reflective coating.

Based on the shape of the women's specific freeride powerhouse Love Life, the all-new Mahalo offers lightning-fast response, stability and speed to all female split boarders. The lively yet surfing Mahalo is available in two lengths. It features Amplid's homemade splitboard hardware and takes advantage of the new super-stable knuckle sandwich construction to better withstand the rough stuff that comes along on tours.
The directional Mahalo has a "semi-fat" camber, meaning the camber (preload) is pronounced for all-mountain use, but not too extreme. This weakened camber delivers a precise and lively feeling, similar to a pop camber, but with a much improved deep snow performance. Amplid's directional snowboards add a touch of early rise to the Cruise Camber to further improve lift.
