Omni Core
This super lightweight wood core is the industry standard for lightweight, durable and versatile performance. We've tweaked this core so many times over the years that there's nothing left to improve.

These narrow bands of basalt fabric, running in a V configuration under the topsheet from the contact points to the bindings, dampen unwanted vibrations, reduce rider fatigue and keep the edge in contact with the snow for better control.
The use of biaxial glass in the construction of our boards gives them a flawless blend of response and playfulness while remaining incredibly lightweight.
Ultra-wide, low rise tips that exist only to create lift in powder without taking speed. They give skis and snowboards a surfer-like feel.
We slightly round the edges at the tip and tail outside the effective edge. Blunting these edges reduces topsheet chipping during ascent.
Amplid's ultra-high density sintered base goes like crazy in all snow conditions. It is extremely hard and therefore more resistant to damage.
The use of threaded bolts instead of rivets makes it easy to replace broken clips without the need for a shop full of tools.
Robust, pre-cured composite baffles placed under bindings and touring hardware significantly reduce the risk of topsheet damage and breakage.
Forged aluminum hooks, designed in-house by Amplid's development team, provide a reliable yet lightweight connection between the board halves and have a sleek, matte black aesthetic.
Knuckle Sandwich replaces conventional materials that are susceptible to damage with more durable alternatives.
Less heat, less sticky snow, less weight - thanks to a special heat-reflective coating.

Mahalo is Hawaiian and means thank you. There is also a lot to be thankful for this board, e.g. its light weight, its playful flex and, its turning pleasure and its uncomplicatedness in the ascent as well as in the descent. And if you can then still fully exploit its potential in playground-like terrain and not too hard conditions, nothing stands in the way of a wide grin of the rider.
