Never Summer has developed its lightest splitboard core without compromising the well-known durability. The new split-specific rocker camber profile allows you to conquer any slope and rip the most technical lines.
Never Summer Atom Split
The Atom (Twin) from Never Summer convinces in the overall performance. The wing profile and the Twin-Shape make it very manoeuvrable and extremely fun to drive. At higher speeds from about 70 km/h it slightly loses stability. In the powder it floats up well and the wonderful feeling of gliding arises and makes you smile. If the snow becomes hard, it holds surprisingly well and carved precisely. This sensitive tuning also leads to a good and safe ascent behaviour. Even the forward pull is good, which always implies a high development effort for a wing board.
The Never Summer Atom is a versatile splitboard with a pleasant freestyle character. It loves touring in playful terrain, but we would also go uncompromisingly to higher altitudes, well we reached an altitude of 3600 meters with the Atom.
Even with the disillusionment of a regular weight, it was promised to us as very lightweight, it gets the Splitboarding Selection 2019-20 award for it's overall performance.
Never Summer has developed its lightest splitboard core without compromising the well-known durability. The new split-specific rocker camber profile allows you to conquer any slope and rip the most technical lines. This profile extends the camber to a flat high-contact zone just below the touring brackets for incredible uphill traction and downhill stability. The high nose and taper (wider front than rear) provide excellent powder performance.
The lengths 160cm and 165cm are available as wide-version.
