Test Results

The Furberg Pow Split has a flat base - neither camber nor rocker. This gives it good float. Thanks to the fish shape and the reverse sidecut at the nose and tail, which is currently unique at Furberg, it can be ridden in a very relaxing way and even in deep powder no special weight shift to the rear is necessary. In rough conditions you glide comfortably over bumps and have full control. As usual with Furberg it is not very waisted and has a large radius. It is surfy, but it takes a certain amount of time and practice in order to push the edge correspondingly into the curve radius. With full pressure it starts sliding at the back. If you bring the weight further to the rear, it will hold the edge also at high speeds. During ascent it is good and stable due to the "normal" width. It is well balanced and is a lot of fun both on ascent and descent.

Snow conditions while testing: from 20-30 cm of powder to hardpack and slopes
