"The Veda splitboard is controllable and easy to ride. When you push it to its limits you notice the “grabbing” of the Grip Tech. This is similar to the men's boards from Arbor (see Bryan Iguchi Pro) in terms of the on edge performance. It works well for lighter women due to the board being on the softer side. It rides playfully and carves nicely on the piste. In powder, it floats well and is easily maneuverable.
During the ascent, we could not find anything negative. The edges hold normally and the Grip Tech gives a bit of extra grip. In deeper snow, the split ski tips stay afloat. As with the Coda, the balance point is set optimally, however, if some snow sticks to the board halves they will sink and skinning is somewhat affected. The Veda feels great weight wise. At high speeds in rough terrain it chatters quite a bit and it requires finesse to stay in control. We would recommend it to female splitboarders for whom the design is very important and who are looking for a pleasant, surfy, performance oriented splitboard. It is most comparable to the Riva from Weston."
