Test Results

What did we like while testing the Plum Eterle?

  • The Injection Molded Highback if you like it a bit softer
  • The buckles keep tight
  • The U-Profile which encloses the axis - gives good stability
  • The fixation of the little safety hook at the lever - easy handling while closing your binding
  • The enclosing highbacks which give aditional stability and edgehold at challenging traverses
  • The Ski-Mode works amazing
  • The Design and super high quality processing
  • Made in Chez Nous

What we didn't like?

  • The mounting of the binding, luckily it only has to be done once
  • It has a bit less power transmission compared to the carbon highback
  • The binding was to small for us - but anyway it is built for smaller footsize

Description

The ladies model of the Eterlou has a base plate adapted to women's sizes and comes in bright colours, otherwise it has the same outstanding features as the Eterlou. Injection Molded Highbacks make the Eterle comfortable to climb and descend.

The Eterle is also one of the best performing splitboard bindings for women. By pulling the board halves together, it creates an optimal connection, torsional stiffness and power transmission. Simplicity, board feel and ascent performance are the characteristics of this binding. The Plum team is constantly testing and developing the binding further.

The conversion from split to ride mode takes only a few steps and is done in a very short time. Of course with gloves.

The Eterle is available in sizes S (37-41) and M (39-42). The Eterle is still available in trendy purple/pink, the matching crampons are available in widths of 130 and 145mm.
