Relatively easy high-alpine tour, which can also be started early in the season due to the low crevasse glacier.

Route description
Starting point:

Parking lot Golzernbahn valley station

From the bottom station, the route climbs steeply up the hiking trail towards Herrenlimi through the forest. There you now come to a road and follow it further into the valley.

Depending on the snow conditions, we recommend either the summer trail or the more direct winter option.

For the first one reaches a bridge at about 1250m and crosses over to the Vorderer Etzliboden. From there, keep to the right of the valley floor (west) until you reach again mountain pasture buildings on a high plateau (1900m). From there you will also come back to the winter path and climb over the Müllersmatt in a wide right arch up to the Etzli lodge.

The winter path, on the other hand, is always to the left (east) of the valley and climbs in a very straight line up to Müllersmatt.

From the Etzli hut, one descends briefly into the valley floor to Unter Felleli. From there via moraines to Spillauibielfirn and up to the ridge. Depot depending on conditions there. You will reach the summit within a short time.

Descent like ascent route.
