You can park near the church on Prtovč. Or you can drive a bit further to the Lovska koča hut. Very unlikely to get lost there because there is many ski tourers going either up or down.
There are some different routes up. For skiing is best if you start the Razor route. Usually there are some tracks but if not, there are marks on trees so you follow them. Go pass the houses and turn slightly towards east. The start is steep. Follow the marks on the trees.
In the forest there are some avalanche areas, be careful there!
When you come out of the forest you get to the small plateau Razor. There you turn west. There is some more woods after that is just the final approach. Once you get on the ridge you can see the Krekova koča hut. The summit is north of the hut. There are some nice flancat pastry to taste in the hut - do not miss out on the experience.
From the top you can descend towards north but you need to keep in mind that you must turn east to get to Razor plateau.
You can also go east from the hut - there you get to Razor directly. From Razor you should use the left side of the valley - less threes and better snow.
The south face is very steep and there are always avalanches in winter - i do not recommend!
