Route description
Starting point:

Starting point is the hiking car park in Eidebakken on the south-western edge of Lyngseidet.

From the hiking car park follow the signs to Skihytta. The trail is marked with small reflectors to the hut. From the hut you continue to climb towards S-W towards the well visible summit. At about 700m the steep ascent (>30°) to the summit ridge begins, which is followed southwards to the summit. On the summit ridge you have to pay attention to cornices - mostly on the east side.

Option 1: Along the ascent path over the summit ridge.

Option 2: Direct descent on the eastern slope of the summit until the terrain flattens out a little (approx. 800m) here you head northwards towards the ascent path and follow it into the valley.
