Route description
Starting point:

Josef car park at the toboggan run

Ascent:

Our splitboards have been brought into hike mode, the ski touring equipment is ready and we start to go up the toboggan run. If this is too boring for you, you can also shorten steeply through the forest. When we reach the toboggan run for the first time, we follow it and head towards the Auffangalm (cosy mountain pasture where tobogganists, ski touring friends and splitboarders can meet. Shortly before, you turn right in a valley uphill.
At approx. 2000m we reach beautiful Splitboard terrain and can choose two ways, we describe the right side. Continue through a small valley, we reach a hunting lodge, leave it to our right and walk south-west. After a few meters of altitude we reach a wide ridge on which we continue the last meters in hairpin bends to the summit (2369m).

Descent:

There are many variations that offer beautiful downhill runs under the appropriate conditions. Some avalanche awareness is required to choose a safe variant.
Otherwise, as we already know, ascent = descent.

    Avalanche Warning Level: 2
    Comment / Trip report:

Je nördlicher man derzeit abfährt, desto besser... Grüße vom Gipfel :)
