How to get there:

Coming via Salzburg via the motorway to Bischofshofen. From there to Mühlbach am Hochkönig. Starting point is the Griesfeld lift directly at the Livingroom Hochkönig.

Route description
Starting point:



Ascent via the ski slope of the Griesfeld lift further north-east to the Arthurhaus (1503m). From here on the southern slope towards the north-east, follow the footpath to the Mitterfeldalm (1690m), which is visible depending on the snow conditions. Behind the Mitterfeldalm turn left into the eastern slope up to the foot of the Hochkönigwand (Mandlwand).


Downhill run from the foot of the Hochkönig walls (Mandlwand), depending on the snow conditions possible to the south or east. After the run climb up again to the Mitterfeldalm and back to the starting point via the ascent path.
