Without the help and support from the following partners, we couldn't offer you such a comprehensive service for split boarding and backcountry skiing on splitboarding.eu. We sincerely thank everyone involved for their support.

Maps & Data

The Office of the Tyrolean State Government has kindly given us access to the slope maps at tiris map services.
Thanks for the support which makes our users a safe trip planning much easier.

Our thanks also go to the OpenStreetMap Community, working tirelessly to the quality of the exempted material and continue to improve and update it regularly. We are pleased to offer you a permanent and ad-free alternative to the Google Maps.

A very helpful contribution to tour planning is provided by the slope gradient maps of OpenSlopeMap, which we particularly happy about. OpenSlopeMap aggregates the best possible, freely accessible digital terrain models and creates a map specially for alpinists, ski tourers and freeriders. The maps can also be downloaded as mbtiles and trekbuddy data for flexible offline use.

The very latest weather predictions on splitboarding.eu come from the Meteorological Institute of Norway, a member of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the European Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) and the European Organization for the evaluation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT). The data is provided to us byyr.no, a joint online weather service of the Meteorological Institute of Norway and the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation NRK.

Riding und Guiding

Surf your perfect line with ROCKnSNOW.
The Zillertal, with over 300 km downhill slopes and more than 65 Freerideruns, is of the largest deep snow eldorados in the Alps. The most runs have a vertical height of between 1000 and 2000 meters.
There are countless freeride mountains with different difficulty levels from Easy to Hard. In addition, we have a huge potential of very beautiful ski and snowboarders trips where you start at the highest points of the ski areas and thus long crossings are possible, e.g. across the Zillertal. Depending on your condition and skills, we'll make around 5000-10000 meters per day with you. Your guide knows well about the snow conditions and avalanche situation. So you can be sure that we surf the best powder slopes with you.

Freride Center Stubai

As the first Freeride Center in Stubai we offer a unique service on and offpiste. Whether you’re a rookie or pro, skier or boarder, you’ve come to the right place. As locals, we know all the lines like the back of our hands; let us show you the way! We offer freeride courses, camps and guiding in the Stubaier Backcountry; we´ll lead you away from the bustle of the pistes. A solid plan is the basis for a successful backcountry Adventure, so come to the office to get to know us, and discuss your objectives. Patrick Ribis Mountain Guide, and all of our Team.
