Hello everyone! I recently bought the K2 joy driver split package (https://www.k2snowboarding.com/en/mens/snowboards/joy-driver-split-packa...) (goodbye lugging my board up mountains) and I was hoping to use my very old bindings (https://www.evo.com/outlet/snowboard-bindings/burton-freestyle-2012).
I read online you can use the voile splitboard pucks that came with the board with any bindings, but I think I need some additional hardware (if my old bindings are even compatible). So I have a couple of questions:
1. Are my bindings compatible with the voile pucks?
1a. If so what, if any, additional hardware do I need?
1b. If they're not compatible, do you have any recommendations on compatible bindings?
1c. Are there any major advantages to having splitboard bindings compared to regular snowboard bindings (besides weight)?
2. Are there any other components that I'm missing (ex split-mode binding pivot attachment)?
3. Not really related - but how necessary are crampons/are they worth it/any recommendations?
Not sure if it's relevant but I have these boots (https://www.evo.com/outlet/snowboard-boots/burton-imperial-2016) US size 11.5
Thanks in advance for your help!
