i have been riding the thunder for the past 2 seasons, starting with the very first prototype. the shape is a collab between nitro and splitsticks. generally the shape is a traditional directional tapered camber that was modified for uphill performance. the board has a long radius on the edges which gives the board a superb edgehold skinning. riding at high speeds, the board feels very stable even in not so fun snow conditions. the taper in the tail makes the nose float in powder with ease without putting weight on the back foot and gives the board agility in tighter situations like trees or tight chutes. the flex is on the stiffer side, which is very positiv and efficient when climbing. the thunder is a great allround board that will perform in all conditons.
