Testers StatementIt is the Allmost Allrounder which can be used from Powder over Hardpack and Ice.
Riding Style Gnu Billy Goat 159:
We call the Billy Goat 159 Splitboard by Gnu the "Allmost Allrounder". Due to the Magne Traction and it`s "ultra" Hybridrocker-Shape it seems a bit strange but is absolutely suitable for most of the tested riding styles.
The Billy Goat159 Split had been tested in the last season. It is the Allmost Allrounder which can be used from Powder over Hardpack and Ice. The Board can be ridden smoothly as well as tough and with lots of energy in your feet. Due to the Shape and the Magnet Traction it is very stable at hard traverses.
The Gnu Billy Goat expands your horizon. Where there is no trace of easily accessible powder fields, Billy Goat feels at home. Developed by a seasoned snowboarder, Temple of the Gnu family, it is perfect to discover new lines and explore the backcountry. Using the Billy Goat splitboard you reach pristine powder, you will experience the best days of the season and make runs you'll never forget.
The Magne-Traction gives you extra grip on the ascent and the descent. The C2 BTX shape cares for the further performance. It is a directionale twin board with Magne-Traction and Anvitex dampening, ... Flex is 7-7.5 (out of 10) on the Gnu scale.
The board is designed by an artist living in Oregon, Adam Haynes who is described as very relaxed and restrained.
The Gnu Billy Goat Split is available in 2 lengths 159cm and 162cm.
It is supplied with Karakoram boardclips and connectors.
