Route description
Starting point:

Just under the bottom cable car station the route starts.

Ascent:

Follow the route that is open for skiing a few times a season - Zagarjev Graben. It ascends gradually and offers you a nice view on the lake. Further up there are some turns. Be careful if some skiers come down, so be at the edge. Also be aware of avalanches coming down from steep walls on both sides of the route.
When you reach the ski resort follow the Zadnji Vogel course. Soon you see wo huts on the right. Turn right and pass the huts. Then go left into the valley that is oriented south. Go to the end of the valley and turn right. Up on the ridge and into the second valley, that brings you under the north face of Vogel. There you can choose to go up the north face or go right. If you go right go just to the ridge. Follow that ridge south until you reach the west ridge of Vogel. Go on to the summit on the ridge.

Descent:

On the descent follow the route you came up. You can also ski down the north face - keep in mind that it is steep and demanding. If you have enough energy back at the huts, you can skin up to Orlove glave to get something to eat and drink.
