Route description
Starting point:

From Sommerbergalm take the chair to Tuxer Joch.

At top station of the chair head towards the small summit with the cross (Weiße Wand, 2518m) but do not split directly to the peak. The Frauenwand (2541m) is 350m away from the summit more in southward direction. At the Frauenwand you have a good view into the Kaserer Col but be careful the terrain is exposed towards the south.

Depending on snow conditions you can ride down in south-east direction into the cirque. The first 100 vertical meters are very steep (>40°) with the possibility to choose a less steep descent. If there is not enough snow you have to down climb a short rock section (20m, UIAA II). If not sure you can still ride back to the Tuxer Joch at this point. From there you can either walk along the ridge in south direction to the Kaserer Col or you enter directly the cirque at any point.
