Route description
Starting point:

The starting point of this splitboard tour is behind the Tux Center, close to Eggalmbahn, where there is a big parking lot. Parking is for free. Walk over the bridge, “Tennisbrücke”, to the other side of the river (Tuxbach) and you will see the signs of hiking routes.

The ascent starts from the bridge (Tennisbrücke), following the hiking route and road to Tettensjoch. Follow the ascending gravel road (at the beginning nr 30) until 1600 meters and then start climbing on the hiking route (nr 20) which crosses the road. Hiking route goes through the spruce forest, which will change higher in to less dense pine forest. When reaching about 2000 m altitude, leave the hiking route and keep on hiking up left from the hiking route, towards the top. When the avalanche risk is low, it is possible to hike all the way up above the tree line to the top of Tettensjoch (2276 m).

Descent is the same as the ascent.
