Route description
Starting point:

The splitboard / backcountry tour starts at the chairlift Hochalterkar

At the beginning we hike with our splitboards / ski touring ski on the right side of the slope up to the Kreuzleger, then on to the Schwemmsee `le (2408m), a small lake, which is barely visible in the winter. The peak of the Hochalter is identified by a small antenna. We go straight up and are now at the same height to the mountain station of the chairlift Hochalter. Now it is about 1/2 hour to the summit, but take care at the often endangered peak-slope to the summit. (danger of avalanches)

As ascent, checking the terrain from the top of Hochalter, you often can find untracked powder at the left side of the ascent. Again, pleas keep in mind the snow- and avalanche conditions.
