15 February 2014

This month you can win the Black Diamond Carbon Whippet Splitboard- and Ski Mountaineering pole. To join, just post your splitboard story or trip report to the forum and collect likes.

The pole has an integrated ice axe for challenging mountaineering. With this pole you save weight and increase safety at the same time.

Black Diamond Carbon Whippet

The Black Diamond Carbon Whippet lends a new level of packability

  • 18 mm (.71 in) aluminum upper, 16 mm (.63 in) carbon fiber mid and 14 mm (.55 in) carbon fiber lower
  • Stainless steel pick with canard wing built into a dual-density touring grip
  • 100 mm (4 in) Powder Basket
  • Dual FlickLock Pro adjustability and security
  • Compacts down to 68 cm (26.75 in)
  • Sold individually
  • 475 g

The feel is great, the Whippet is very solid and even with the ice axe integrated, it is very comfortable to handle while ascending and using the Carbon Whippet as a normal pole.

For me, the Black Diamond Carbon Whippet  is exactly the tool what i was missing on my material list. Regarding challenging touring in which you don`t know what to find out there, this is what gives you some more safety when it is getting harder.

So, if you want to win this useful pole, post your trip reports and splitboard experiences to our forum. Each Trip Report or Experience should be posted in a new thread (topic).

The lucky winner is the one who got most FB likes at the 15.03.2014. So the best thing to win is writing your Experiences and Trip reports at our forum and share it on FB.

Enjoy and good luck!

Of course your posts continue to count for the Summit Flush Challenge where you can win a brand new season 14/15 splitboard till end of may.

I think it is better if you share the information at our events section.
