The Aiguille du Fruit is one of the most impressive mountains in Courchevel. You can see it from all over the ski-resort and here you can watch a video how it is summited at perfect conditions with a splitboard.

Lots of tiny steep couloirs are acessible from Courchevel or Meribel but to reach the top you need time, good snow conditions and some climbing skills.

At the end of season 15-16 everything was perfect to climb the Aiguille du Fruit. So we decided to try!
After one hour skinning in the mean couloir we began a big traverse just on the ridge. At aroud 100 meters below the summit it was to difficult and we decided to go back a few meters and climb an intersection of around 15-20 meters. The summit slope is a steeper (around 50°) and a bit exposed.

But as it has been one of my dreams to stay on top of the L'auiguille Du Fruit since I was a little kid, every drop of sweat and every minute of effort was worth it.
