Who is this splitboard binding for?

Spark Dyno DH is intended for riders looking for ride-mode hardboot binding for splitboarders using a tech-boot touring setup. Spark Dyno DH belongs in a complete hardboot system. Tech toes handle the climb while the downhill binding connects the stiff boot directly to the board. This provides precise edge pressure on firm traverses, but sole length, canting and every interface component must be planned together.

How does the system work?

Spark Dyno DH uses Tesla Snap Ramps for ride mode on Spark pucks. The Dyno remains a downhill-only binding: separate tech toes hold the hardboot on the climb while the Dyno travels in the pack. This creates low moving weight uphill and very direct power transfer downhill.

What is included and what else do you need?

Manufacturer package for Spark Dyno DH: the binding or touring component named above; check the product page because a complete hardboot system may require several separate parts
Plan separately: Compatible hardboots and every missing ride-mode or touring component must be planned as one system. Add suitable crampons for firm traverses.

The exact package matters with this model because missing interface parts are system-specific rather than universal accessories.

What changed from the previous season?

Spark Dyno DH carries its established core construction into 26/27, so experience with Tesla Snap Ramps for ride mode on Spark pucks and the binding’s basic character remains relevant. Still verify the current package, size matrix and any running strap or hardware updates.

Which size should you choose?

Available Spark Dyno DH sizes: 255–340 mm BSL. Use the boot’s real outer length: heel and toe should remain centred, straps should operate in their intended range and the boot must not move laterally in the chassis. For hardboots, sole length in millimetres matters more than the labelled size; bails must hold the shell securely without preloading it. Our boot and binding compatibility guide explains how boot flex, highback and board stiffness interact.

Have we tested this binding?

We are preparing a new 26/27 review of the Spark Dyno DH. Until it is published, this page provides technical guidance without presenting a test verdict in advance.
