Who is this splitboard binding for?

Spark Arc ST is intended for riders looking for light, mobile softboot binding for long tours and a surf-oriented ride. Spark Arc ST pairs well with a supportive medium-flex splitboard boot. A very soft boot makes the setup surfier but reduces edge pressure, while an extremely stiff boot can mask the binding’s mobile character.

How does the system work?

Spark Arc ST uses Tesla T1 with ST Touring Brackets and ST Whammy Bars. The proven Arc concept remains clear: extensive baseplate cut-outs save weight, while the more mobile highback offers greater lateral freedom than the Surge. The result is a surf-oriented ride without giving up the simple Tesla transition.

What is included and what else do you need?

Manufacturer package for Spark Arc ST: a binding pair and the ride/tour hardware specified by the manufacturer
Plan separately: Confirm whether pucks or ride-mode interfaces are included. Add compatible crampons where your tours require them.

The exact package matters with this model because missing interface parts are system-specific rather than universal accessories.

What changed from the previous season?

Spark Arc ST carries its established core construction into 26/27, so experience with Tesla T1 with ST Touring Brackets and ST Whammy Bars and the binding’s basic character remains relevant. Still verify the current package, size matrix and any running strap or hardware updates.

Which size should you choose?

Available Spark Arc ST sizes: XS, S, M, L. Use the boot’s real outer length: heel and toe should remain centred, straps should operate in their intended range and the boot must not move laterally in the chassis. With Spark, the real sole outline determines whether toe strap, heel loop and highback remain within their intended adjustment ranges. Our boot and binding compatibility guide explains how boot flex, highback and board stiffness interact.

Have we tested this binding?

We are preparing a new 26/27 review of the Spark Arc ST. Until it is published, this page provides technical guidance without presenting a test verdict in advance.
